Do you believe?

We, and most other not-for-profits, rely heavily on the belief that our patrons and followers have in our organization. But what does it mean to believe in an organization like ours?

Believing in Theatre Orangeville isn’t just about believing in the fact that we promise a sensational show and routinely deliver on that promise (although, I must say we have a pretty good track record of doing just that!).

Believing in Theatre Orangeville isn’t just about believing that we’ll offer a variety of programming for your kids that will give them something exciting to look forward to each week (which they will!).

Believing in Theatre Orangeville isn’t just about believing that we will continue to partner with local businesses and social services so that we will always be a go-to collaboration partner within our community (which we will be!).

Believing is knowing in your heart – in the very basis of your being, that if and when you choose to support Theatre Orangeville that we (not the “organization”, but we – the people that make up the Theatre Orangeville team) will do everything in our power to ensure that our impact on this community will be one of positivity, connection, and joy.

we will produce productions that make you laugh, cry, sing, and feel connected to your friends, family and community in a way that makes you know you’ve experienced something truly special.

we will give your kids a space where they feel seen, embraced, and celebrated for all the things that make them incredible and give them the power they need to shine, inside and out.

we will work hard to advocate for our small businesses, and use the power and wonder of the performing arts to help bring awareness to all of the good work our partner organizations are also doing to make this community a place where one and all can be accepted, included, and cherished.

You believe that supporting your Theatre makes the world a better place, and trust that when you buy a ticket, enroll an Academy participant, make a donation, or become a sponsor, those funds will help our team continue to do everything we can to fulfill our mission and bring more joy into the lives of those whom we impact.

It’s because we collectively believe in all of this, that we continue to unwaveringly work towards achieving our $350,000 fundraising goal - a goal that will help us overcome the deficit we accumulated over the challenging times we are working to leave behind. We have known from the onset it wouldn’t happen overnight. This $350,000 goal was an undertaking that we knew would take perseverance and commitment to see through to the target. It’s because of you; our patrons, participants, donors, and sponsors, that we are well on our way to doing just that!

Now having raised just shy of $145,000, we are closing the gap and our day to day is becoming a little easier. We have cut expenses everywhere we can. Our production team is reusing and repurposing more and more materials – making the most out of our modest production budgets. Ticket sales are climbing, and we’re seeing more and more new patrons attending each production and they are coming back for more.

So, thank you. Thank you for believing. With our promise to keep striving for excellence in all of the things we do; our promise to do everything in our power to make a positive and meaningful impact on our community and every single person who comes through the doors, and with your continued support, we will get there. With your help and your belief in us, we will hit that target.

How can you help us get there?

We’re so grateful to have your support, in all of it’s forms - and we couldn’t do it without you!
