Fresh off a historic evening at our 2025 Starlight Celebration, where incoming Artistic Director Jennifer Stewart announced her very first season at Theatre Orangeville - we’re sharing with you all of the details for our 2025/26 Season. A season of WONDER, as Jennifer has affectionately called it.
Five and three show subscriptions are on sale now and renewal notices have been sent directly to current subscribers (if you didn’t already renew at the 2024/25 Season prices). We have five WONDER-ful mainstage shows and one add-on presentation Norm Foster fans won’t want to miss! Book your five show subscription package and don’t miss a single show, or get a three show subscription giving you the option to pick and choose your favourites.
By becoming a subscriber, you also gain access to discounts on individual tickets purchased for family or friends who may want to join you at the shows, and for any add-on presentations. At up to 20% off as a five show subscriber, it really does make it worth it to become a Theatre Orangeville Subscriber.
Subscription sales only will run from March 13th to April 13th for new and returning subscribers. Single-show tickets will go on sale starting Monday April 14th. So mark your calendars and be sure to grab tickets early!

Norm Foster fans - we’ve got you covered with The Norm Effect: A Three Day Adventure Through Foster’s World. Three incredible Norm Foster plays, performed as staged readings, all featuring Norm Foster himself. With special guests and friends of Theatre Orangeville invited to perform for each of these shows, you may just want to get a ticket to all three dates!

On September 17th join us for On a First Name Basis, starring Norm and Sheila McCarthy, who recently directed The Beaver Club.
On September 19th, we are so excited to finally be presenting The Writer (a show that was to be a part of our 2020/21 Season which got cancelled), we are so thrilled to be bringing this one ‘back’. This performance will feature Jamie Williams (The View from Here) and Norm Foster.
Last but certainly not least, join us again on September 21st for Jonas and Barry in the Home, starring Norm Foster and David Nairn alongside Mairi Babb, this performance will also be directed by Derek Ritschel.
There will only be one performance of each play, so fans, get in line and get your tickets to your favourites. Subscribers will receive a discount on tickets to any shows within this three-day event. A unique way to kick off this season full of WONDER.

For our first mainstage production of our 32nd Season, Jennifer Stewart will take the helm and direct this World Premiere of the two-act version of The Wonder of it All. Starring the playwright, Mark Weatherley and his real-world spouse Monique Lund.
Chronicling the trials and tribulations of a 25-year marriage that will face some surprises from the past that will affect the certainty of their future, The Wonder of it All is a witty and touching comedy, a comedic misadventure for modern lovers.
Appearing on YOUR stage from October 9th - 26th, The Wonder of it All is automatically added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

Next up, we see the return of what is now a ‘holiday tradition’ at Theatre Orangeville with another panto from the comedic duo of Debbie Collins & David Nairn. Get ready for ‘An Adventurous and Hair-larious Panto’ with Rapunzel: A Braid New World.
We’ve already been promised 33 ⅓% more HI-JINKS than the last two pantos and hair products, lots and lots of CANADIAN hair products, like shampoo, conditioner and MOOSE!
Join us on a hilarious romp through this beloved (fractured) fairy tale with Rapunzel: A Braid New World. With many of your favourite pantomime cast returning for this World Premiere, Rapunzel will automatically be added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections (which we suggest you do - as we’re already being asked when single-show tickets go on sale for this one!).

Welcoming us back into the theatre after our holiday break, as we bring our third mainstage production of the season with Common Ground by John Spurway.
Pam is blindsided when her husband of four years leaves her a note telling her he’s left her for another woman. She leans on her best friend Lizzy for support as she picks up the pieces of her life. She gets a call from Jake, a potato farmer (and the other woman’s husband). He is equally bewildered by a similar note left for him.
Over time the two come to spend time together and realize they indeed have some Common Ground. This 'Provocative Rom-Com' hits the stage from February 5th - 22nd, 2026, and will automatically be added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

Taking us into the early months of spring, we find ourselves entangled in a mystery with Murder at Ackerton Manor by Steven Gallagher. A wild and hilarious 'who-done-it' that will take us on some exciting turns and twists a la Agatha Christie style murder mystery.
One dark and stormy night, the despicable Roger Ackerton, Lord of Ackerton Manor, is murdered. Detective Pierre Pierrot is called in to solve the case—but all he has to go on is a dead body, a missing diamond, and five ridiculous suspects, each with an outlandish motive. As the clock ticks down and the suspects turn on one another, will Pierrot solve the mystery—or become the next victim?
This 'Farcical Murder Mystery' will be on YOUR stage from March 12th - 29th, 2026. Murder at Ackerton Manor will automatically be added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

Last but not least - you're invited to a wedding! The Wedding Party by Kristen Thomson invites the audience to wear your wedding best, as you will
Dora nominated for Outstanding New Play (2017), The Wedding Party takes us behind the scenes with two families, mistaken identities, and love. Dress up in your ‘wedding best’ and join our cast (who each play a multitude of hilarious family and friends attending the wedding), as they hit the dance floor, indulge a little bit too much, and try to get along.
This 'Madcap Comedy' will be appearing on YOUR stage from April 16th - May 3rd, 2026. The Wedding Party will be automatically added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.
