There Goes The Neighbourhood
A Theatre Orangeville Academy Production
The neighbourhood is ordinary, and just perfect, until someone new, and a little different moves in! There Goes The Neighbourhood tells a story through music, jokes, dance and song about the people around us who are, perhaps not so ordinary at all!Â
Since 2003, Theatre Orangeville has stood proudly beside our partners at Community Living Dufferin to provide unique theatrical programming that celebrates the ability of participants. Creative Partners on Stage (C.P.O.S.) actors work with our directors and choreographers to develop two original scripts each year, fully supported by our professional production team and the accredited support workers of Community Living Dufferin. There is nothing quite like C.P.O.S. anywhere in Canada and it happens here at your theatre!

What is Theatre for Young Audiences?
We believe theatre is a powerful tool. It dramatizes and contextualizes the world. It invites us to walk in other’s shoes; see the world through their eyes.
All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA)Â shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.
Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
Theatre doesn’t have to break the bank.
