Common Ground
Join us after the holiday break in early 2026 as we bring you Common Ground. For her second seating in the Director’s Chair, Jennifer Stewart is delighted to bring this provocative rom-com to life.Â
Pam is blindsided when her husband of four years leaves her a note telling her he’s left her for another woman.
She leans on her best friend Lizzy for support as she picks up the pieces of her life. She gets a call from Jake, a potato farmer (and the other woman’s husband). He is equally bewildered by a similar note left for him. Jake is new to the area and has no Lizzy in his life, so Pam reluctantly agrees to meet him.Â
Over time, they find common ground in their shared experience. Full of wit, warmth and humour, Common Ground is a heartwarming comedy about love - both lost and found.
Common Ground is automatically added to five show subscription packages and can be included in your three show subscription selections.Â

What is Theatre for Young Audiences?
We believe theatre is a powerful tool. It dramatizes and contextualizes the world. It invites us to walk in other’s shoes; see the world through their eyes.
All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA)Â shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.
Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
