Summer Arts Fest 2023

IT'S BACK - And we couldn't be more excited!!

Returning for the 2nd year in a row - Theatre Orangeville Summer Arts Fest will once again be held at the beautiful Mount Alverno Luxury Resorts. Join us from August 11th through 13th for some fantastic programs all celebrating arts, culture and all things theatre (and beyond)!

Some of you may remember our event from last summer - and aren't you in luck!? We're bringing back some of your favourite artists - along with exciting new ones - just to make the weekend that much better!

We really think attending Theatre Orangeville's Summer Arts Fest needs to be on your radar this August - Read on and we're sure you'll agree! Here's a rundown of what you can expect...

North(519) Best of Fringe - RETURNS!

WHAT IS IT?

Our team will spend a VERY BUSY WEEK in July viewing dozens (47 to be exact!) of Toronto Fringe Festival shows - and select only the VERY BEST to bring to our Summer Arts Fest for you to see! There will be two shows presented, and you can purchase tickets for either show - OR BOTH (at a discount of course!). One of the best parts of these Fringe shows is that we never quite know what the shows will be until our ‘Fringe Blitz’ at the beginning of July. Once our team deliberates and our selections accept our invitation (usually by mid-July) we will announce the names of the shows and share all the great reasons to come check them out.

PS - If you know Fringe, and you know our North(519) Fringe of years past - this is an event not to be missed. Tickets WILL sell out and the best part of buying tickets before our show selections, is the artistic THRILL of never quite knowing what you’re going to get (but trusting our TOV team to bring you only the VERY BEST)!

KidsFest Crafts & Games - FREE

DAYTIME - KidsFest FREE Event

WHAT IS IT?

Join us for some free play between shows during the day on Saturday.

A combination of guided, and self-guided stations will invite families to explore crafts, activities and games for children of all ages.

*This event is free. Donations of any amount in support of materials and instructors will be graciously accepted.

Storytime with Fay & Fluffy - RETURNS!

WHAT IS IT?

Join dynamic children's entertainers Fay & Fluffy, of Family Jr's The Fabulous Show, for storytime!

Inspiring a love of reading and encouraging messages of choosing kindness and empathy towards one another through community, story, song and silliness!

We are honoured to once again be able to bring this amazing duo to our community and share their unique storytelling style.

WHAT IS IT?

Music, Drag and Bingo, oh my!

Fluffy Souffle is back with their unique twist to bingo as our host and MC. Alongside local favourite Troy Boy Entertainment, who promises to bring the party (as always).

This event SOLD OUT in 2022 (and then some, with an extra block of tickets being released and ALSO sold out!)
